Warm friendly welcome, secluded location with idylic gardens & yet only ten mins walk to town centre. The garden house is very tastefully decorated with everything you need. Large windows & terrace over looking gardens & sea views. Ideal place to relax & enjoy the many birds that visit the beautiful gardens.

I agree with other recent reviews. Absolutely lovely self-contained accommodation, the best of its sort that we had in 4 weeks in NZ. Friendly host was available to give advice but let us have our own 'space'. Beautiful locality with interesting places to visit and nice beaches. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay, especially when your host carries your bags up the steps to the aptly named Tree House! Quiet but within easy access to everything and beautiful views. Most helpful host and our only complaint - we had to leave!

The setting of the suite here is stunning. They lie in a beautiful hillside garden composed of nature and native forest, with a view down to the bay itself.

Very good, private, peaceful & quiet accommodation. The garden is gorgeous a credit to the hosts. It was wonderful to sit on the deck or in the sitting room and look out on the garden, birds and view beyond. The unit is spacious, well planned and attractive. Plenty of hot water. Washing machine a definite plus, also the ironing board and clothes horse. Stayed 5 nights.
